The MINE application

You can download the MINE application, which computes MIC as well as other statistics from the MINE family (e.g., TIC), in Java and has had interfaces made for it in R, python, and C.

Datasets

The datasets analyzed in the original MINE paper are available for download. These versions of the datasets have undergone all the curation described in the paper.

• WHO: Social, economic, health, and political indicators from the World Health Organization and GapMinder.
• Gene Expression: Spellman et al. yeast gene expression dataset (CDC15).
• Microbiome: Microbiome dataset of Turnbaugh et al. (2009).
• Baseball: Individual offensive statistics from 2008 Major League Baseball season.
