Microbiome Data Set

Our curated version of the microbiome dataset of Turnbaugh et al. is available in the following two comma-separated values (CSV) files:

MicrobiomeWithMetadata.csv       MicrobiomeNoMetadata.csv

The file on the left contains variables detailing the metadata (diet, sex, etc.) available for each mouse sample. The file on the right contains only the abundance levels of all the OTUs.

These files are accompanied by two others:

• A glossary describing the taxonomy of each OTU in the data set.
• A dictionary describing the interpretation of the numerical values for each of the metadata in the data set.
